OUR CLASSES
At Koha we believe that fitness should be anything but routine. That's why we offer a diverse range of gym classes designed to cater to every fitness level and personal preference. Whether you're an experienced athlete or just beginning your fitness journey, there's a class for you. Our dedicated instructors are here to motivate and guide you, making sure every workout is not only effective but also enjoyable. You can find our class timetable here.
Conditioning and Balance
A low impact class involving general conditioning, body weight exercises, balance, proprioception and core strengthening. A great class for those wanting a lower impact workout while conditioning the whole body in a gentle way.
Core Express
Get a great core workout in just 30 minutes! This class is great as a standalone workout or is an excellent add on to another work out to give your core an extra boost!
Core Conditioning
A 30 minute full body conditioning class, focusing predominately on the core. Based on the principles of Pilates and drawing on other complimentary disciplines to add extra variety and challenge.
Engine
A mixture of high intensity cardio alongside functional weight training for 45 minutes. This class will keep you moving and designed to improve your aerobic capacity as well as full body conditioning.
Functional Strength & Conditioning
This 'all-in' 50 minute gym floor class will challenge you physically and mentally to get you fitter and stronger. Combining strength work based on Functional Movement Patterns with Metabolic Conditioning for a well-rounded session, you'll learn new skills and improve on existing ones while having some sweaty fun. Open to all levels, modifications will be provided.
Functional Mobility
Our mobility session is designed to prevent injuries, improve performance in and out of the gym, as well as enhancing everyday life. 30 minutes.
HIIT & HIIT Xtra
Short on time but want to push yourself to the max? Our HIIT (high intensity interval training) classes are for you. These 30 minute classes are sure to get the blood pumping! A combo of cardio and strength with lots of variety. Also available as HIIT Xtra 45 minute version.
Hybrid
Spend your first 30 minutes sweating it out on the bike in Killerwatts, followed by 30 minutes of weight training to build your strength. Short on time? You can choose to attend both or just one of the sections of Hybrid.
Indoor Express
A fun energetic class that involves a mixture of training methods. This 45 minute class is open to all fitness levels.
Integrative Breathwork
45 minutes to blow out the cobwebs, release some tension and expand the capacity of your mind and body. This class uses modern breathwork practices to enhance your mental, emotional and physical resilience, as well as get clarity on the steps you need to take to achieve peak performance, open to all levels.
Killerwatts
A power-packed class designed around Zwift’s 5 power zones. This workout combines intervals and steady-state efforts to help you build endurance, speed, and top performance. With real-time feedback on your power output, you can track your progress, refine your technique, and push yourself to new heights. Plus, you’ll be riding alongside a supportive community that’s just as dedicated as you are. Great for all fitness levels.
Pilates & Intermediate Pilates
Pilates is a style of controlled exercises using correct muscles to obtain balance, strength, symmetry and flexibility. All this while breathing correctly and using the deep abdominals to stabilise and support the pelvis and lower back. This precise core work is great for injuries of all kinds to rehab prevent them from reoccurring or prevent them from appearing in the first place. Posture, placement and brain power are all the things you will learn, while strengthening and balancing your body. Intermediate Pilates is the next level up from our regular Pilates classes. Before booking, please make sure you've attended one of our Pilates classes and speak to the instructor. 50 minute classes.
Strength & Strength Xtra
Challenge your body in varying ways, including High Intensity Resistance Training (HIRT), a super effective way to build strength & tone while torching body fat. Each of these full body workouts will be unique and will include functional movement patterns for a well-rounded & truly satisfying workout. Open to all levels - this class will become a firm favourite on everyone's schedule. Strength Express is 30 minutes and Xtra 45 minutes.
Stretch
Stretch out all those tight muscles. Just 30 minutes this class is a great as an add on after high intensity class! Your body will thank you for it.
X-Train
A full body workout in just 30 minutes this class combines cardio and conditioning exercises. Predominantly utilising dumbbells and body weighted exercises with cardio intervals throughout the class.
Yoga - Active
Focusing on opening the body and clearing the mind, this mat-based class draws from various yoga modalities, blending core strengthening and functional movements to provide the body with a balanced workout. We will combine the dynamic elements (Yang) with grounding Yin yoga, so this class may also benefit you as an active recovery session. All levels are welcome, props provided. 50 minute class.
Yoga - Recovery
For all those hard chargers out there - here’s an opportunity for a little working in, to balance all the working out we do the rest of the time. This gentle Yin/Yang style class will target and release tight muscles and joints, breathwork is used to counteract stress & facilitate a deeper mind-body connection, and of course functional mobility for rehab & prehab. 50 minute class.
Yoga - Dynamic
Perfect for building strength, flexibility and mind-body connection. This dynamic "Vinyasa-flow" style is a dynamic practice where you move through a flow of different yoga poses. It will leave you feeling focused and energised - the best way to start the day! 50 minute class.
Yoga - Flow
Expand your range of motion and build muscle strength with this Flow Yoga class. You will progress through dynamic transitions with a focus on connecting the movements with your natural rhythm breath. This class is great to de-stress, boost your mental resilience as well as enhancing your muscular strength. Begin the journey to rediscover harmony in your life and balance your mind through the ancient practice of yoga. 50 minute class.
